Visit to Jacobo and Maria's Alebrijes Workshop...

Every two years the Grisi International Convention is held in Mexico, this year the objective of Mundomex was to propose the state of Oaxaca, for being a state that allows you to know the Mexican soul in depth. Considering the great history of its streets, where we can see all the historical eras of Mexico, pre-Hispanic, colonial, independent, modern and contemporary!

With its natural jewels and brushstrokes of vivid colors that illuminate its landscapes, visiting its archaeological sites and transporting you to the past. And if we add the delights that it offers to our palate, such as its traditional tlayudas, a chocolate or its black mole, one of its complicated sauces that contain infinite ingredients and secrets and to finish with a mezcal or pulque, we create a perfect atmosphere equivalent to pleasure.

In our tour, we wanted to offer all our guests who came from different countries, a beautiful experience with such a warm and hospitable welcome at Jacobo and Maria's alebrijes workshop.

The explanation of each one of the guides left each one of the guests fascinated by the elaboration of the alebrijes, from the formation and construction of the figure with the copal wood to the details of the painting for its very colorful and striking colors in the pure Mexican style; they provoked without a doubt an admiration for the great work of all those people who capture their passion in each design with their personal touch. As if that were not enough, at the end of our tour they were offered a wooden figure and paint to create their own alebrije, really everyone was very entertained enjoying in group this activity of integration, no doubt they will take it to their country of origin as a souvenir of this great experience they lived through Mundomex.

Making this trip a wonderful experience for everyone!

You have to live the best moments...!
