Itinerary

Day 01-03 | Beijing

Upon arrival in Beijing, meet your guide and enjoy some free time before the welcome dinner.
Join an expert-led taichi lesson at the serene Temple of Heaven.
Discover China's imperial past in the Forbidden City.
Enjoy a private dining experience and elegant dinner in a traditional hutong courtyard.
Embark on an excursion along the majestic Great Wall.

Day 04 | Beijing - Xi'an

Depart for the airport for your flight to Xi'an at the scheduled time.
Reception at the airport.
Scheduled sightseeing:
Ascend the legendary Xi'an City Wall for panoramic views of the ancient city and the vibrant metropolis beyond.
Stroll through the bustling streets and stalls of the Muslim Quarter.
Experience Xi'an with more than just your eyes by sampling some of Xi'an's famous dishes.

Day 05 - Xi'an

Witness the proud and unwavering life-size terracotta warriors standing guard.
Venture beyond the city walls to admire the majestic Wild Goose Pagodas, ancient structures full of history and architectural significance.
Explore outside the city walls to marvel at the grandeur of the Wild Goose Pagodas, ancient monuments rich in historical and architectural significance.

Day 06 | Xi'an - Chengdu

Discover the tranquil Hanyang Tomb of Emperor Liu Qi, which offers a peaceful contrast to the terracotta army of the Qin Dynasty.
Later, travel to Chengdu aboard a high-speed train, which showcases one of China's most remarkable technological advances.

Day 07 | Chengdu

Get up close to the giant pandas at the Dujiangyan Panda Base and join a volunteer program to care for them.
Visit the ancient Dujiangyan Dam, the world's oldest irrigation system, and marvel at its enduring technology.
Taste the fiery spirit of Sichuan with a communal dinner of spicy broth and a variety of meats and vegetables.
Marvel at the quick ability to "change faces" at a Sichuan Opera show.

Day 08 | Chengdu-Shanghai

Visit Wuhou Temple, the final resting place of the famous military strategist Zhuge Liang in ancient China, and the teahouses and stores on nearby Jinli Street.
Explore the well-preserved Wenshu Monastery, a historic sacred site more than 1,000 years old.
Witness a fascinating kung fu tea performance inspired by tai chi and kung fu movements.
Stroll through the Kuan Zhai alleys, where Qing dynasty buildings house cafes, bars and trendy boutiques.
Prepare for the next flight to Shanghai.

Day 09 | Shanghai

At the appointed time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai.

Once a private park of the Ming Dynasty, Fuxing Park is now a vibrant center of local life in Shanghai.
Explore the elegant streets of the former French Concession, steeped in colonial charm and once home to Shanghai's elite.

Day 10 | Shanghai

Explore Shanghai's historic Jade Buddha Temple, home to two beautiful Buddhist statues dating back to 1882.
Join an expert guide for a tour of Shanghai's historic sites, such as the famous Bund, which showcases its mix of art deco and neoclassical architecture.
Return to your hotel to enjoy some free time before your farewell dinner.

Day 11 | Shanghai-End of Services

Travel to Pudong International Airport at over 400 km/hour aboard the Maglev train.
