Itinerary

Day 1 (Sat) | Arrival in Madrid

Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. (Sun) | Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, panoramic tour of the city; we will contemplate its medieval origins as the Arab fortress, visiting the Barrio de la Morería, characterized by the antiquity of its buildings and the flavors of its inns; We will visit the courtly Madrid of the Habsburgs, characterized by Philip II and its Renaissance and Baroque buildings in the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa; we will see the Madrid of the Bourbons and the urban layout of Charles III, the Royal Palace, the Fountain of Cibeles, Neptune and the Puerta de Alcalá; we will admire the works of the s. XIX century works such as the elegant Plaza de Oriente and the Prado Museum; we will know the contemporary Madrid with avenues such as Gran Vía, Paseo de la Castellana, Barrio de Salamanca, Parque del Oeste, commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid, and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Afternoon at your disposal.

Day 3. (Mon) | Madrid - Cordoba - Seville

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure south along the land of Don Quixote, "The Man of La Mancha", passing by the typical Don Quixote's inn in Puerto Lápice. Through the natural pass of "Despeñaperros" we reach Andalusia, a region with an enormous heritage of a splendorous past.

Arrival in Cordoba. Visit of its impressive Mosque/Cathedral will relax our minds and spirits to stroll through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short drive of about two hours, arrival in Seville.

Day 4. (Tue) | Seville

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning monumental and panoramic visit of the city, including entrance to the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome. Typical Santa Cruz neighborhood, natural scenery of "Carmen" as well as the place where the myth of "Don Juan" was developed. Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España.

Free afternoon to discover different perspectives and specific flavors of this active city full of light.

Day 5. (Wed) | Seville - Granada

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure east through the Caliphate route to the heart of Andalusia observing an endless number of olive trees. Arrival in Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental environment, last stronghold of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada until 1492.

Visit the world famous Alhambra and the Generalife Gardens, fountains, gardens, courtyards that with their sights and sounds have inspired authors such as Washington Irving in his "Tales of the Alhambra".

Day 6. (Thu) : Granada

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free day to enjoy the Nasrid capital. Granada is more than the Alhambra; the Muslim heritage runs through every corner of the city and mixes with the Christian tradition, giving rise to a unique city.

Day 7. (Fri) | Genoa - Toledo - Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure to the north where rises, under the sky of Castile and surrounded by the Tagus River, the impressive Imperial city of Toledo - World Heritage Site and cradle of civilizations - where the three cultures coexisted; Christians, Muslims and Jews. Extract of the art, history and spirituality of the country, the whole city is a National Monument. Brief guided tour of this historic city, strolling through its old town through its narrow streets.

Continuation to Madrid.

Overnight.

Day 8. (Sat) | Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the indicated time, transfer to the airport.
