We’ll begin our tour at the hotel to explore the many charms of Santiago. We’ll observe the contrasts between the city’s historic center and the modern buildings of the Eastern District, discovering the favorite spots of both tourists and locals.

Our first stop will be on the iconic Avenida Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins, also known as the Alameda, where we’ll marvel at the Presidential Palace of La Moneda, an imposing neoclassical building that houses a fundamental part of Chilean history. We’ll continue our panoramic tour through the picturesque pedestrian walkways of downtown, passing by the Plaza de Armas, a strategic vantage point from which the city’s first plans were drawn. Surrounding the plaza, we’ll admire several historic buildings, including the majestic Cathedral, the imposing Central Post Office, and the elegant Santiago City Hall.

Next, we’ll ascend Cerro Santa Lucía, an architecturally and historically significant site of great beauty that played a crucial role in the city’s founding and remains a popular destination among Santiago residents. Afterward, we’ll head to other local recreational spots, such as Parque Forestal, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the vibrant Lastarria neighborhood. We’ll cross the Mapocho River to reach the lively Bellavista neighborhood, known for its vibrant cultural and artistic scene, as well as for being one of the capital’s favorite nightlife destinations. We’ll conclude our exploration by venturing into the city’s new downtown area, visiting Providencia and the districts of Las Condes and Vitacura, where we’ll enjoy spaces such as Bicentennial Park, one of the city’s new landmarks. Once we’ve finished our tour of eastern Santiago—a symbol of growth and modernity—we’ll head back to the hotel.

We’ll visit Viña Santa Rita, one of the country’s most important wineries, set in a unique natural setting where winemaking tradition blends with Chilean history, culture, and cuisine.

We’ll enjoy the Classic Experience: A Journey Through Chile’s History and Winemaking, beginning with the Vineyard Garden, guided by an expert who will take us through the vineyards, the winemaking cellars, the aging cellars, and the bottling plant. We’ll visit the historic Cellar 1, built of lime and stone, and the famous Cellar of the 120 Patriots, now a National Monument.

We’ll continue with a tasting of reserve wines, followed by free time to explore the Andean Museum and visit the Viña Santa Rita gift shop, before returning to the hotel.

We’ll visit one of Chile’s most traditional wineries, Viña Undurraga, which was the first to export its wines and thus paved the way for Chilean wine to be recognized as one of the best in the world; today, dozens of countries receive and enjoy Viña Undurraga’s excellent products. We’ll begin in the Aroma Room to awaken our senses, and then we’ll visit Undurraga Park, created by the French landscape architect George Henry Dubois, who also designed Santiago’s Forest Park, one of the city’s landmarks. We’ll continue on to the Aliwén Corner, a place that recreates some of the vegetation native to southern Chile and pays tribute to our principal indigenous people, the Mapuche, by displaying figures from their culture and sharing their worldview.

We’ll tour the vineyards and explore the valley’s terroir through a “calicata,” identifying the different grape varieties grown by Undurraga in a varietal garden, and we’ll observe the winemaking process for the various wines. We’ll visit the century-old underground cellars and view the “Gente de la Tierra” collection, an exhibition of Mapuche and pre-Columbian life and art in honor of our indigenous peoples. We’ll conclude with a tasting of three reserve wines, receive our wine glass as a souvenir, and then return to the hotel in Santiago.

We’ll begin our experience at your hotel to explore Santiago through its cuisine, visiting its most famous markets and participating in an incredible cooking class.

We’ll start at the Central Market, which, in addition to being known for its classic selection of fresh fish and seafood, stands out for its architecture (it was designed by Gustave Eiffel). Its significance is such that it has been internationally recognized by NatGeo as one of the 10 most important food markets in the world.

We’ll then walk to the Vega Central, where we can enjoy the colors and aromas of a variety of fruits and vegetables. After purchasing the main ingredients for our class, we’ll head to the vibrant Barrio Italia, a renowned neighborhood where art, cuisine, and culture blend perfectly. Together with our Chef-Instructor, we’ll cook and learn the secrets and recipes of Chilean cuisine, and then, of course, we’ll enjoy our dishes paired with excellent Chilean wines. After lunch, we’ll return to the hotel.
