Itinerary

DAY 1 | ARRIVAL IN LIMA

Arrival at Lima airport and transfer to your hotel. You will be accompanied by one of our representatives who will inform you about the tourist attractions of the city and help you with your check-in.

Overnight in Lima.

DAY 2 | LIMA - LARCO MUSEUM & CITY TOUR

Breakfast.

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour of the Historic Center of Lima. You will start visiting the Casa Aliaga, a colonial mansion with more than 5 centuries of history and considered the oldest house in the Americas. Then, you will explore the Plaza Mayor, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, where you will visit the imposing Cathedral of Lima. Finally, you will visit the Larco Museum, located in an 18th century colonial mansion. Here, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in more than 5,000 years of ancient Peruvian history. This tour is shared with other passengers.

DAY 3 | LIMA - CUSCO / CITY TOUR & NEARBY ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES

Breakfast.

A shuttle service will take you from your selected hotel to Lima's Jorge Chavez International Airport. Domestic flight from Lima to Cusco (not included).

Upon arrival at the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco, a shuttle and a representative will pick you up and transfer you to your selected hotel.

Enjoy a guided tour of the charming and magical city of Cusco, ancient capital of the Inca Empire. In the company of the group, you will visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, located in the ancient temple of Coricancha. Next, you will visit the Cathedral Basilica of the Virgin of the Assumption, the main temple of Cusco. Afterwards, you will explore the hills of Cusco, starting with the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, and then visit the archaeological complex of Qenqo. You will continue with a visit to the military architectural complex of Puca Pucara and the ruins of Tambomachay, also known as the Bath of the Inca. Finally, you will return to your selected hotel. Please note that this tour is shared with other passengers.

The Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC), included in the itinerary, is a personal and non-transferable document that grants access to 16 important attractions in Cusco and its surroundings, such as Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. It also allows entry to various sites of the Sacred Valley Circuit, such as Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Moray and Chinchero.

DAY 4 | CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY / CHINCHERO, OLLANTAYTAMBO AND LIVE MUSEUM OF YUCAY

Breakfast.

A transport will pick you up in the morning to take you to the picturesque village of Chinchero. You will begin by exploring the impressive agricultural terraces and the 17th century church, built over an ancient Inca palace and recognized as one of the first Catholic buildings in Peru. En route, you will make a stop at a lookout point to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Sacred Valley. Then, you will visit the Museo Vivo de Yucay, where you will witness the creation of textiles, adobe handicrafts, ceramics and silverware using ancient Inca techniques. You will enjoy an exquisite typical lunch in the Sacred Valley.

After lunch, you will head to the imposing Ollantaytambo Fortress, an important ceremonial center known for its impressive agricultural terraces that stretch along the slopes of the surrounding mountains. At the conclusion of this full-day tour, you will return to the hotel to rest and absorb the renewed Inca spirit. This tour is shared with other passengers.

DAY 5 | SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

Breakfast.

A shuttle will pick you up from your hotel in Urubamba (Sacred Valley) and transfer to Ollantaytambo train station. This transfer is shared with other passengers.

*Please note that, as it is a shared transfer, the pick-up time is up to 30 minutes.

Board the Inca Rail Voyager train from Ollantaytambo station to Aguas Calientes station (Machu Picchu Pueblo), upon arrival at your destination you will receive assistance. For your return to Ollantaytambo station, you will board the 360° train. Both trips have a duration of one hour and a half each and schedules are subject to availability.

Aguas Calientes, located on the slopes of Machu Picchu, offers a vibrant handicrafts market, a variety of restaurants and lodging options. Just a 25-minute bus ride away is Machu Picchu, an impressive feat of engineering and architecture believed to have served as a sanctuary and retreat for the Inca Pachacutec. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World, Machu Picchu, which means "Old Mountain," captivates with its historical splendor and natural majesty. At the end of the visit, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes to start your return to Cusco. This tour is shared with other passengers.

*Remember to confirm your reservation as soon as possible to proceed with the purchase of tickets in advance due to the limited capacity of the citadel. The selection of the Machu Picchu circuit and schedule will be made according to availability at the time of confirming your reservation.

You will enjoy a delicious lunch menu at the Inkaterra Café with a unique view of the Vilcanota River. This restaurant combines Andean cuisine and architecture with contemporary trends, creating a meal with an original flavor and fusion style.

After your train ride from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, a shuttle will be waiting for you at the train station to take you to your selected hotel in the city of Cusco. This transfer will be shared with other passengers.

*Please note that, being a shared transfer, the waiting time from the arrival of the train is up to 30 minutes before departing to Cusco.

DAY 6 | DEPARTURE FROM CUSCO
