Description of Excursions

Panoramic Tour of Santiago, Chile

We’ll begin our tour at the hotel to explore the many charms of Santiago. We’ll observe the contrasts between the city’s historic center and the modern buildings of the Eastern District, discovering the favorite spots of both tourists and locals.
Our first stop will be on the iconic Avenida Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins, also known as the Alameda, where we’ll marvel at the Presidential Palace of La Moneda, an imposing neoclassical building that houses a fundamental part of Chilean history. We’ll continue our panoramic tour through the picturesque pedestrian walkways of downtown, passing by the Plaza de Armas, a strategic vantage point from which the city’s first plans were drawn. Surrounding the plaza, we’ll admire several historic buildings, including the majestic Cathedral, the imposing Central Post Office, and the elegant Santiago City Hall.
Next, we’ll ascend Cerro Santa Lucía, an architecturally and historically significant site of great beauty that played a crucial role in the city’s founding and remains a popular destination among Santiago residents. Afterward, we’ll head to other local recreational spots, such as Parque Forestal, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the vibrant Lastarria neighborhood. We’ll cross the Mapocho River to reach the lively Bellavista neighborhood, known for its vibrant cultural and artistic scene, as well as for being one of the capital’s top nightlife destinations. We’ll conclude our exploration by venturing into the city’s new downtown area, visiting Providencia and the districts of Las Condes and Vitacura, where we’ll enjoy spaces such as Bicentennial Park, one of the city’s new landmarks. Once we’ve finished our tour of eastern Santiago—a symbol of growth and modernity—we’ll head back to the hotel.

  • Estimated start time (approx.): 8:30–9:00 a.m.
  • Estimated end time: 1:30–2:00 p.m.
Alyan Sunset Experience

We’ll begin by picking you up at your hotel and heading to the charming Maipo Valley, famous for its Mediterranean climate—perfect for producing exceptional wines.
We’ll stop in Pirque, where we’ll visit the Alyan Family Winery. Here, you’ll enjoy a relaxing experience designed to make you feel right at home while sharing unforgettable moments.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a tasting of their exquisite artisanal wines, accompanied by a light box lunch. Next, we’ll tour their beautiful gardens and the winemaking cellar, where artisans craft high-quality wines.
Afterward, you’ll marvel at a spectacular sunset offering a breathtaking view of the valleys, hills, and the imposing mountain range.
To end the day on a high note, you’ll enjoy a casual dinner before returning to the hotel.

Valparaíso & Viña del Mar (lunch included)

We’ll begin our tour by heading from your hotel to the coast to explore Valparaíso, a city that served as the main port on the Pacific Ocean during the 19th century and is now one of Chile’s top tourist destinations thanks to its vibrant culture and distinctive architecture. We’ll also visit Viña del Mar, a beautiful coastal city known for its gardens and pleasant beaches.
We’ll drive through the fertile Casablanca wine valley and arrive in Valparaíso, enjoying beautiful views of the city from the lookouts located on some of the 43 hills surrounding the bay. We’ll visit some of its historic and commercial districts, as well as the National Congress building, and ride one of the city’s most famous elevators. We’ll head to Cerro Alegre for an extraordinary view from the Paseo Yugoslavo, then continue on to Cerro Concepción and stroll along the picturesque Paseo Atkinson, where we’ll capture one of the best postcard views of Valparaíso.
We’ll head to La Sebastiana, a unique building that today serves as a museum and cultural center housing collections by the renowned Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, and then continue on to the neighboring seaside resort town of Viña del Mar. There, we’ll visit the Casino and the main avenues and gardens along the coast, then stroll through residential neighborhoods featuring modern architecture, ending at Reñaca Beach. We’ll conclude the tour with a visit to downtown, Plaza Vergara, and Av. Alvarez, before returning to the hotel in Santiago.
